Whitehorse Creative Youth Community
Council is following the Directions issued by the Chief Health Officer under the Victorian State of Emergency. The health and wellbeing of our community is our highest priority.
The “Stage 3 – Stay at Home” restrictions have been reintroduced and will come into effect from 11:59pm on Wednesday 8 July. Council must now close Youth ConneXions in compliance with the Directions.
We expect Youth ConneXions to remain closed for 6 weeks, in line with the Premier’s announcement about the Stay at Home Directions.
Youth Connexions will not provide a ‘drop in’ service until further notice however, are still able to provide ‘remote’ support to young people and the community.
Young people and the community can contact Youth Workers at Youth ConneXions for support via phone 9898 9340, 0417 036 365 or via email firstname.lastname@example.org or via our social media.
Up to date information about Youth ConneXions will be available on our website and social media
We also have a variety of free online resources, activities and support options for young people while self-isolating at home.
All Whitehorse residents must comply with the “Stay at Home Direction”. For the health and safety of our community, we must stay at home except for one of the four reasons:
– Shopping for essentials
– Provide or receive care
– Work or study if it cannot be done from home
Details about the restrictions can be found on the DHHS website.
